COLOR PRINTS
 
The Epson 9900 is state of the art equipment for digital pigment printing. We use the UltraChrome HDR inkset, which provides prints that are capable of 100+ years of life without fade (framed under UV glass). See Henry Wilhelm's website for specific paper data. We offer several different papers, and most anything is available upon request.

Images can be rendered directly from your digital files or customized from either your file or our scan to meet your standards. We encourage you to send a sample print for us to match if you have one.

You can FTP your files to us directly, or send them on CD or Zip disks. Jobs are completed on a first-come-first served basis, our turnaround time is usually 3 days from the time we receive them. Often we can complete an order in less, depending on workload.

Prints are produced with the paper of your choice. Prints up to 11x17 are shipped flat, larger sizes are rolled and sent in appropriately sized tubes or boxes. Shipping charges are added to the cost of the order. You will NOT have to pay any sales tax, as Oregon does not require it.

Monitor Calibration for Color Printing
When preparing your files for us to print you MUST embed a profile. We recommend you use "Adobe RGB 98" (set this in Photoshop's Color Settings dialog box) but others such as ColorMatch or sRGB work well. Also make sure that you are editing the image in RGB mode, not CMYK.

If you want consistent, predictable results we highly recommend you hardware calibrate your monitor. The best product we've found for this is X-Rite's EyeOne system. Effective calibration can also be accomplished using Monaco's device or Colorvision's packages. If you are unable to work from a calibrated monitor you should have us proof all images before you order final prints.
